Peppermint Bark Pretzels are sweet, salty, crunchy, and perfectly on-theme for the holidays. Three ingredients and a few minutes is all you need to make these fun, snack-able chocolate covered pretzels.
Line a couple of large baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
Melt the chocolate either using a double boiler, or in the microwave. I use a microwave safe container and microwave the chocolate for 20-30 seconds at a time, stirring in between. A container that is deeper than it is wide will be useful for coating the pretzels.
When the chocolate is melted, carefully dip each pretzel in the melted chocolate to fully cover it. I used a fork to dip the pretzels in the chocolate and then lift them up. Let the excess chocolate drip off the pretzels.
Place the chocolate coated pretzels on the lined baking sheets, stopping after you've done 5 or 10 to sprinkle some of the crushed peppermint candies on top while the chocolate is still wet.
Continue until you've used up all your chocolate. You may need to briefly re-melt your chocolate once while you work depending on how quickly you go. I put mine back in the microwave for another 20 seconds one time.
Allow the pretzels to fully set up before moving or packaging.
