Are you still searching for your signature Thanksgiving pie recipe? Are you looking to round out your holiday dessert table? From classic pumpkin, pecan, and apple, to cranberry, chocolate and more, I’ve got you covered with my very best Thanksgiving pies and tarts.

don’t neglect the dessert course this Thanksgiving!
In your heart of hearts you know it, even as you pull that big golden bird out of the oven on Thanksgiving day, everybody’s eyes are going to be squarely planted on your dessert table. It’s just human nature, and so you need to make sure all your bases are covered. I’ve got the classics of course, but maybe this year’s the year to step out of the box and try something new! Here are my favorite Thanksgiving pies and tarts to get you started.
classic Thanksgiving fruit pies and tarts
Pumpkin pie may be the queen of the Thanksgiving dessert table, but I happen to think that every holiday meal needs at least one fruit pie. They are the perfect way to celebrate seasonal winter bounty, and the natural tartness of fruit can feel a little lighter and palette-cleansing after a big meal. I know at least a few people in my family who just aren’t into pumpkin pie, so it’s always good to have options to make everyone happy.
Thanksgiving pumpkin pies
You can’t do Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie! Whether you’re a purist, or looking to shake things up a little bit this year, I’ve got the pie for you.
Thanksgiving desserts for the chocolate lovers
It may not be strictly traditional, but I always like to have a little something for those people at the table who just don’t believe it’s dessert if it isn’t chocolate. Plus, it’s always good to have a little variety!
Thanksgiving pecan pie and more
While I have to admit I’ve never been a big fan of the traditional pecan pie, my maple frangipane pecan pie is one of my favorite recipes of all time, and gets requested every year for the Thanksgiving table! I highly recommend it, along with these other unexpected yet fabulous pies and tarts.
Have you tried freezing any of these pies, and if so, which ones? Thanks!
Such perfect pies – I really need a slice of each! ๐
The Maple Sweet Potato pie does not link to the recipe. I tried directly on her blog also.Is there anyway I can find it?
It’s working for me, Sharon, not sure what’s wrong on your end, here it is: https://www.stylesweetca.com/2014/11/19/maple-sweet-potato-pie/
