Who doesn’t love a frozen cocktail? How ’bout the best frozen cocktail recipes from frozés and slushies to spiked milkshakes, and boozy ice cream? (It’s going to be a spirited summer.)
wait ~ do you have the right stuff?
If you’re going to make frozen cocktails you’re going to need a blender. And not just any blender ~ yours will have to be powerful enough to crush ice. 1,000 to 1,500 watts or higher provides ample ice-crushing power. Note: if you’re blender isn’t up to snuff, give the poor thing a head start and use crushed ice.
The Vitamix blender is my choice for perfect frozen drinks. This one has a low profile so it fits neatly under your cabinets ’cause you’re going to want to keep it out all summer long.
